• Question: You work with high intensity lasers, are you not at risk of any radiation? And if you are how do you protect yourself?

      Yes we are at risk. to protect ourselves we use goggles when we are in the room to protect our eyes from the weaker lasers, and we all have to leave the room and shut a lead door when we put it into high power mode.

      Also we have to get a Geiger counter (machine that checks for radiation) and sweep the room when we come back in because the laser is so powerful that it can turn normal things radioactive.
