0 Question: Why is a completed building still called a "building" since it's already built? Keywords: building, language Asked by weheartsciencexo to Emma, Jimmy, Janet, Niall, Simon on 18 Mar 2013.
Niall Crawford answered on 18 Mar 2013:
It’s just a double use of the word, one being the verb ‘to build’, and the other just being the noun.
James Holloway answered on 18 Mar 2013:
Ha! you’re right. it should be called a ‘built’.
I’m going to start calling them ‘builts’ and see if it catches.
