      Yes, you still excrete urine and this is collected in a catheter bag. If a special liquid diet is injected into your vein (total parental nutrition) then I don’t think your bowels work and you don’t need to poo. If you’re receiving food through a tube into the stomach then you can excrete faeces this is collected into a stoma bag.
