Question: What would happen if you touched the radioactive stuff?

At first, you wouldn’t feel or notice it at all.

If it was a lot of radiation on your finger and then you ate a sandwich you could be in some trouble though! There is a thing called ‘radiation sickness’, where all sorts of nasty things happen to you (you feel sick, your skin goes sun burnt, you hair can even fall out).

But we don’t deal with enough to really hurt you accidentally, and we are super careful with the stuff.
