      The biggest asteroid in the asteroid belt just now is about 900km in diameter,. Very big

      There are also things roaming space called ‘rough planets’, these are planet sized objects that do not go around a star like normal planets but instead float around the galaxy. It is possible that one could pass through the middle of our solar system – like an asteroid – and cause all sorts of trouble. They can be over 1000 times as big as Earth!
