Question: something ive been thinking about, Can we come up with a string theory or M-brane theory that matches physical reality and gives us some insight?

So in string theory there is a concept called the String Theory Landscape, which is believed to have 10^500 meta stable configurations (that is to say 10^500 possible combinations of the laws of physics and universal constants that give rise to a consistent universe). Some theorists believe that our combination of constants and laws is one of these possible states and that string theory can explain why our universe is the way it is. So its possible 🙂
