• Question: Is there an asteroid that is bigger than America?

      possibly, none have been discovered so far, the biggest ones known of in the asteroid belt are 900km in diameter, which is still pretty big.

      No doubt they are out there, but we haven’t seen one. It would only take a one a mile wide (travelling at 30,000 miles per hour) to destroy life on earth, so one the size of America would be hard to imagine!

      Yep, I’m sure there’s one out there somewhere in the universe but maybe not in our solar system!
