• Question: is it possble to augment humans to improve their strength?

      Yes. So you may have heard in the papers that some sportsmen take illegal drugs to be stronger? It is possible but at great cost to the body. Drugs like this take a huge toll on the body and will cause lots of problems later on.

      As James said, taking performance-enhancing drugs is often seen as a quick and easy way for athletes to beat their opponents, but are usually banned in professional sport, and can have some bad side effects. Humans can increase their strength by eating the right food and using their muscles in exercise.

      Yes, definitely although there are often down-sides. Even when I go to the gym, some of the men take anabolic steroids to improve their strength and muscle mass. However, this can be dangerous as the steroids have many side-effects such as increasing your blood pressure and your risk of heart disease.
