Animals with exoskeletons (ants, crabs, spiders etc.) have a completely different body style. They have no internal skeleton, with muscles being attached to the inside of their exoskeleton. They also have different ways of growing, because a hard outer shell isn’t easy to grow in.It would involve some major physiological chances in humans to have that, so I doubt it.
