• Question: In your opinion, what is the worst disease for the animals that you study; and how do you hope to help that situation?

      Just at the moment, I think that Schmallenberg virus is a nasty disease for sheep and cows in the UK – I hope to be able to help by learning more about the virus to try and find ways to get rid of it (by making better tests, vaccines or treatments).

      Chytridiomycosis is a fungus which is killing lots of frog worldwide at the moment. My work isn’t involved in controlling it, but I do hope that we find a way to soon.
