An artist. It sounds a bit odd but both scientists and artists use the same creative skills.

A travel writer? If I was born in a different century, then I’d have said an explorer…I think it’s all part of the liking to discover new things…and I quite like writing, which is important in science as you have to explain what you have discovered to other people or they won’t get to find out about it!

Difficult question, if I hadn’t done biology I would have probably studied Paleontology (studying animals from the past using fossils), or maybe a geologist. But they are both still sciences really. I fould have dreamed to have been a footballer (whether I’m good enough is another matter!). I quite liked history at school, so I probably would have done that at Uni, and gone from there.

A dancer… when I was at school I did a lot of gymnastics and dancing, and would have loved to have been on stage in musicals or in dance music videos!

Probably start my own online business, but then I’d never get out the house.
