• Question: If I point a laser to the moon from my back garden and once it reaches the moon i flick my wrist and it moves to the other side of the moon, will I have broken the speed of light? if you have the time please watch this and explain if he is correct. it is only 1 minute.

      No, because it is new photons which are hitting the new place of the moon. If you think about shooting a ball at the left hand side of the goal, then twisting and kicking another ball at the right hand side, no matter how fast you do this, it’s still two different balls. It’s the same with the light photons.
