      PhD students in the UK get about £16,000 per year. It can vary a bit depending on circumstances. Not as much as some jobs 🙂

      Clinical Scientists who are in training get paid between £25 – 30K a year depending on where you are in your training. The more exams you do in my job, the more you get paid so it’s a good incentive.

      PhD students don’t need to pay tax though, which is a bonus.
