      They’re light enough to float through the bloodstream, I think.

      Some types of bacteria can move with purpose, in that they will move towards things that they like and away from things that they don’t. Staphylococcus can’t do this so have to rely on people and objects like mobile phones to transmit them.

      Bacteria have different ways to move around. I think staph have flagella which are like tiny tails that allow them to ‘swim around’.
