• Question: How come some people can see better in the dark than others?

      our eyes are made of rods and cones, which have different functions. The rods help you see in low light, so someone with a higher density of these would be able to see better in the dark.

      Also depending on how much vitamins you get, eg. Vitamin a, the better you can see in the dark because this vitamin aka retinol, is a component of the cells in your eyes. If you’re severely deficient in vitamin a you can get night blindness (this mainly happens in developing countries).
