      I hope so! Indirectly I’m sure it has as doctors can use the results to better treat the patients and figure out what’s going on with them. For example, we measure a protein in your blood called troponin which increases massively if you’ve had a heart attack. If the level is really high, it confirms you’ve had a heart attack and teh doctor can then treat you appropriately.

      So far, no. But tyre design is often based on patterns seen in other animals feet, and effective tyres will no doubt save lives.
