Yes. At least I think that there are bacteria on other planets. They grow in some of the harshest enviroments on earth (in acids, at 120C, and at -4 C) so they could certainly grow on other planets

I don’t believe that there are definitely ETs out there, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we eventually found some (or they found us)…there are so many amazing things on earth, why shouldn’t there be other life forms out there? I think the best scientists were / are those that keep an open mind about things.

There must be, with the Universe being so big. The question is whether they are carbon-based life forms like us, and how developed they will be as organisms.

      Absolutely!

There are 100 billion stars in our galaxy.
There are 100 billion galaxies that we can see in the universe.
Many many of them have got to have planets that are similar to earth.

We’ve only recently discovered a way to see planets around stars and are now finding new ones like all the time. If we find a planet that is the right distance away from a star so that its not too hot or too cold then liquid water can exist. Once you have liquid water (and a few other important things) we believe life has a chance to start.

The only problem is that if there is life out there it is probably so far away that we could not reach it.

I’m sure that there’s some other living organisms out there, even if we can’t understand it and the concepts of how they live.
