      Genetically they are pretty much the same, but there much more active lifestyle probably means they could beat us in an arm wrestle.

      That being said our elite athletes would beat them because all of the advanced training techniques, good food and health.

      Fred Flintstone was pretty strong, he was always picking up big rocks. Seriously though, neanderthals were much stronger than homo sapiens.

      Yep they probably were stronger than most people in the population just because of the difficult tasks they had to do.
