• Question: What are your thoughts as to the theory based on quantum mechanics? Do you agree with its claims? Why or why not?

      Quantum mechanics describes what we see in nature very well, and each time we test it with a new experiment (Young’s double slit experiment is a classic) it proves itself correct once more. So yes I agree with its claims.

      I will say one thing though. currently QM has no way of describing gravity, but we know it exists. So we can say the theory of QM is not complete (we need to add more to describe gravity)

    Do you believe that there are other universes out there that sometimes ‘rub’ against each other to cause ‘strange’ occurrences. Based on quantum theory.

    So this is an idea present in string theory, our universe could be a 4 dimensional brane floating about in a higher dimensional spacetime, and there may be more than one universe (should probably call it a ‘verse’ in this context) and they could interact.

    So based on QFT? No, but based on String Theory? Yes!
