• Question: Could you edit my tastebuds so i couldnt like peas?

      Haha! why do you want to dislike peas? Do you like them too much and eat them all the time?

      Taste is quite a limited sense and the tongues taste buds can only detect sweet, bitter, sour, salty, and umami (savoury) so it might be better to modify your sense of smell. A lot of what you experience when you eat a pea is actually its smell which passes from the mouth to the nose through a a channel at the back of the mouth. To test this try eating a pea when your nose is blocked.

      Often people might not like a food because of other thing rather than taste, such as texture. Don’t like mushrooms for that exact reason.

      Why would not want to like the taste of peas?! They’re tasty and good for you! Like Simon said, you could try holding your nose and see if the peas taste any different?

      I agree with Niall – texture has a lot to do with it for me…I like ‘proper peas’ but hate mushy peas because of the texture.
