      So there are lots of techniques to studying, you’ve got to find the one that works. If i am trying to memorise a specific equation for an exam then I use mnemonics to do it. Lets do an exam:

      Y = mX + c
      (equation for a straight line on a graph).

      I’d try to make up a silly story or sentence that ties into the meaning of the equation to make me remember it. It doesn’t have to make sense, just something you’d remember, like:

      Yogurt = Milk eXtra Concentrated
      Yoda = Mini and eXtremely Cool
      Yikes = My eXam is Coming

      You can do this with anything, peoples names, formulas, places. Give it a try, it might work for you it might not.
